Author Visit

A guest author visit with Mr. Diamond reading aloud from The Amazing Adventures of Magnet Boy. This visit can be scheduled to be interactive with the author leading a hands-on activity involving magnetic principles.

Presentation to Teachers

A presentation which focuses on teaching science using hands-on investigations, while “Adding in the fun and taking out the fear.” Presenter will model the alignment of curriculum maps, state science standards, and hands-on science, with the integration of Language Arts.

Autograph and Q&A Sessions

Sessions allow for a question and answer period, as well as time for autographs from the author. Can be combined with the author reading aloud. Question and Answer Sessions can also be scheduled to involve a roundtable discussion with students about the book, or with teachers, about teaching the scientific concepts introduced by the book.

Educational Publishers

Author is available for meeting with textbook companies to discuss inclusion of standards based science story in their books.
